LibraryLand Tumblr is the best thing since oven roasted chicken, for literature lovers! They find all sorts of goodies all related to books. There are quotes, book covers, scoops on authors and my personal favorite - arts and crafts projects, such as Newsprint Nails.
(Whispering with my chopping hand to my mouth - "I go to the site almost every single day...Shhhh...)

Tech Meets Everything Else
Gizmodo, calling itself "The Gadget Guide" is a blog that blends stories about technological items and real people/situations.
Example : Hero Cops Escort Cellphone Loudmouth Off Train.
While that sounds funny, it's really a true story about a chick talking super loud on the train, upsetting the other passengers, and was asked to leave. You have a phone and you have a person and you have a story.
*Sidenote - the flow of comments related to that story were so hilarious! One guy started the thread with a simple sentence and it sparked a plethora of conversation ranging from stereotypes, racial boundaries and logical conclusions.
Another Example : The Kindle Should Use Ricoh's New Color Ink E-Screen
Here we have a Kindle device and its lack of a function.
*Sidenote - One of the commenters had me ROTFL by saying
"I always hear people criticize the Kindle with something like 'It's all in black and white! I don't want to read that.' My canned response is always 'When was the last time you read a book with colored fonts!'"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

I don't like traditional news forums much, i.e. CNN.com or NYTimes.com, etc. I do check out Huffington Post and some local websites but overall...I must say my loyalty is in Kidult.com.
Of course, my finding of this site has 90% to do with my daily upkeep with Pharrell and N.E.R.D. but besides that I do love it!!
I always find gems on here but I found a story that really put a smile on my face. Early morning happiness!

Define "Nerd"
Found a blog called "The Nerd at the Cool Table"...
Before you ask any questions, let me ask one : How can one be a Nerd if you are at the Cool Table? Better yet, how is there a cool table if a nerd is present? Even better...how is the writer of this blog so NOT nerdy that it's an oxymoron? I like the blog, I don't like the name. Is this supposed to be during the age where Nerds were cool? Like backpackers or something?
Either way...I found some funny gems on here that I think you might find fun as well...

It's cool to be a Snob
Alot of people I know go to Highsnobiety for the latest in fashion. Not Idris Alba fashion but more like Kid Cudi, Vashtie and Common - if they all got together and produced an offspring - kind of fashion. And if you like the site, I applaud because it's okay to be that kind of snob. I, however, also love Highsnobette. This one is for the ladies! Oh yeah (fist in the air)! And they even posted a video of my favorite rapper, er...I mean, one of the greats. (Because I'm sure a Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, etc., etc. fan would stop reading my blog if I said the TRUTH)
